ScopeQueuePeek desktop app
and its store purchases

This is the End User License Agreement (EULA) and Terms of Use for QueuePeek, a desktop application published by DS Tech Works. By downloading, installing, or using QueuePeek you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

License

DS Tech Works grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use QueuePeek on the devices permitted by the store you obtained it from — for example, on Windows devices linked to your Microsoft account under the Microsoft Store rules, or on Apple-branded devices you own or control under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. QueuePeek is licensed, not sold. We retain all intellectual-property rights in the application, including its source code and trademarks; this agreement grants you no rights in them beyond the license described here.

Free trial & purchase

QueuePeek offers a free trial of the full version so you can evaluate it before paying. The trial gives full access to the app's features; if you stop using QueuePeek before the trial ends, you won't be charged. After the trial, continued use requires a valid paid license. How that license is sold depends on the store you use:

  • Microsoft Store — a one-time purchase that unlocks continued use of the app. There is nothing to renew.
  • Apple App Store — an auto-renewable subscription, which may be offered in more than one plan (for example, monthly or annual).

The exact trial length, the available plans, their prices (shown in your local currency), and which features are included are presented on the applicable store listing and in the app before you confirm any purchase. These details may change from time to time; the terms shown to you at the point of purchase apply to that purchase.

Billing & automatic renewal

All payments are processed by the store you purchase through — the Microsoft Store or the Apple App Store — and not directly by DS Tech Works. We never receive or store your payment-card details.

  • One-time purchases (Microsoft Store). You pay once at confirmation of purchase. There is no recurring charge and nothing to renew.
  • Subscriptions (Apple App Store). Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase or, after a free trial, when the trial period ends. The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged within 24 hours before renewal. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable. Any price change to an existing subscription is handled in line with Apple's rules, including any consent or notice Apple requires.

Cancellation & refunds

A one-time Microsoft Store purchase has no subscription to cancel. For an Apple subscription, you can manage or turn off auto-renewal at any time in your Apple account's subscription settings (on macOS, System Settings ▸ your name ▸ Media & Purchases ▸ Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.

Because purchases are handled by the stores, refunds are governed by each store's own policy:

  • Microsoft Store — request a refund through your Microsoft account, subject to the Microsoft Store Terms of Sale. See Microsoft's refund guidance.
  • Apple App Store — request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to Apple's policies.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of QueuePeek except to the extent that such restriction is prohibited by applicable law; not to use it for any unlawful purpose; and not to use it to access systems or data you are not authorized to access. You are responsible for the connection strings, credentials, and message data you use the app with.

Warranty & limitation of liability

QueuePeek is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. DS Tech Works does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DS Tech Works will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of (or inability to use) QueuePeek. QueuePeek is a tool for inspecting and operating on message-queue data; you are responsible for verifying actions (such as deleting, purging, or resending messages) before performing them.

  • In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app, including product-liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer-protection or similar legislation.
  • In the event of any third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, DS Tech Works (not Apple) is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
  • You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce it against you.

Changes to these terms

Material changes will be reflected in the Last updated date above. Continued use of QueuePeek after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
